CALL FOR ARTICLES/GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTORS
The Editorial Board of the Journal of Accounting (JOA) calls for scholarly articles on relevant current and contemporary issues from academics in Accounting, finance, and other related multidisciplinary fields of study for publication.
JOA is a biannual refereed journal published in June and December each year. All submissions must be made not later than two months before any issue. All articles must comply with the following guidelines:
1. Articles must be original, theoretical, and empirical studies.
2. The article should not be more than 20 pages of A4-size paper including references.
3. The article must be typed with double-line spacing at a 12” font size.
4. The paper should have a title page with the author’s name and affiliations (including e-mail and phone number).
5. The Abstract should not be more than 20 words and keywords should not be more than five (5) words arranged Alphabetically.
6. The paper should have a definite structure (five sections) showing the (i) Introduction, (ii) Literature Review/Theoretical Framework (iii) Methodology, (iv) Results and Discussions, and (v) Conclusion and Recommendations.
7. American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition format is recommended for in-text and reference citations.
8. Electronic copy of the paper should be submitted through the email address provided.
9. Articles assessment and processing fee:
Nigeria: Five thousand Naira (N5,000.00)
Foreign: Fifty Dollars ($50)

AT The Journal of Accounting, the author(s) of an article retain the copyright when it is published in the journal. The article’s author(s) may reprint it as a chapter in a book or in other publications.
